Military Mental Health Awareness Tournament

Sign up for Military mental health awareness tournament

Date: Saturday, 11/09 from 8 am est.

Format:

  • 4 games guaranteed.

  • You can participate in multiple events as long as you pay the fee for each event and have a DUPR lower than the maximum stipulated DUPR.

  • Pool play, followed by a single elimination bracket.

  • Pool Play | Games to 11, traditional scoring, win by 2 points. Switch sides on 6 points,  Each team has one minute timeout. 

  • Bracket |  Games to 15, traditional scoring, win by 2 points.  Switch sides on 8 points,  Each team has one minute timeout.

2nd annual ruck walk raises awareness for veterans suicide and mental health

“It’s the 2nd Annual Anthony Muhlstadt Defender Ruck Walk, a 2.2-mile walk, honoring Marine Sgt. Anthony Muhlstadt and all those lost to suicide.”

Fallen Marine’s family members sponsor Northeast High crest

The Defender 5K Ruck Walk raised money for the Stop Soldier Suicide Organization in honor of Sgt. Anthony Patrick Muhlstadt.

Sgt. Muhlstadt, a local man who grew up in the area, graduating from Northeast High in St. Petersburg, joined the Marines. He had been serving at Twenynine Palms in California when he passed away at just 23 years of age.
